Home Run for Homelessness – 11th Year
June 1 @ 6:00 pm - 10:00 pm$10
Home Run for Homelessness (HR4H) is a family-friendly event (baseball game) during which Partners Ending Homelessness (Partners) collaborates with the Greensboro Grasshoppers. The event:
- increases awareness and understanding of the issue of homelessness in Guilford County
- highlights resources for individuals and families in that situation and
- focuses attention on local resources.
Visitors to downtown Greensboro see evidence of homelessness on most every occasion. Partners is working with the Guilford County Continuum of Care to make homelessness here rare, brief and non-recurring. A stabile home benefits both adults and children in terms of mental and physical health and economic gains that transfer to the community at large.
Funds raised through sponsorships and group ticket sales (groups of 10 or more purchased in advance) will allow Partners to continue this work. Box seats are $10. Advance tickets purchased in groups of at least 10 earn $2 per ticket for Partners.
